- As we grow older foot care becomes even more important with skin becoming thinner and joints becoming stiffer. Painful foot problems can make us change the way we walk and can lead to knee, hip and back discomfort. Looking after your feet can avoid many of these problems. However, many people have trouble with routine foot care finding it difficult to reach down to their feet or manage callus, corns, in growing toe nails, verruca and other skin conditions. I provide a reliable friendly service to help you with regular foot care maintenance, successfully dealing with all your foot health needs. Healthy feet are vital for quality of life, independence and mobility.
- It’s best not to ignore foot pain or problems and to see a foot health professional as soon as possible – what may often appear as something small and insignificant, can create difficulties in daily life if left untreated. With regular foot care, most foot problems such as painful callus, corns and verruca can be managed or prevented.
- For sufferers of diabetes, regular checkups and professional care are vital to maintain healthy feet. I’m acutely aware of the importance of diabetic foot care and I’m trained in the specialist area of diagnostics and treatment of diabetic related foot disorders.

I graduated with distinction from SMAE Institute as a Foot Health Practitioner, learning my skill from the oldest and most prestigious provider of Foot Health training in the UK. I am qualified in both the theoretical and practical aspects of foot health and care to enable me to assess the condition of your feet and treat as appropriate, referring you if necessary. I provide routine foot care and maintenance for your feet using the latest procedures and techniques to ensure that you receive the best possible treatment.
I ensure that my knowledge and skills are up to date by undertaking continual professional development and I am also a Member of the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP) and a Member of the College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP). I am fully insured and DBS checked.
The safety, hygiene and confidentiality of my patients are of utmost importance to me. Great emphasis is placed on clinical cleanliness. Guidelines set out by the British Association of Foot Health Professionals are strictly followed. Before treatment commences feet are cleansed with antiseptic, with aseptic work techniques used during treatment and all work surfaces and couch cleansed between each patient. All instruments are cleaned and disinfected then sterilized in an autoclave steam steriliser. The instruments then remain sterile in a vacuum sealed pouch until they are opened during treatment so there can be no risk of cross infection or contamination.
